Two Extreme Spectrum of Prayer: 1. God is all powerful, all knowing, He is sovereign and in control Matthew 6:8 Psalm 139 Danger of having no prayer life 2. You can twist God's arm 1 Kings 17:21-22 Exodus 32:8-10, 11-13, 14 Acts 12:5, 7 James 4:2 We pray because: 1. Partnership with God - He wants our participation 2. Presence of God - He wants us to seek His presence
